Its about how you can feel better mentally and physically by making some minor, some not so minor changes in your own life to really preserve the life you have. The things we put in us and on us really do affect our overall health. Who doesn’t want to feel better?
Over the course of the past few years, I have had a rough run with medical symptoms and oddities that just didn’t add up together to form any sort of consensus on a diagnosis. I have driven myself crazy running around from doctor to specialist and taking whatever medication were prescribed. Problem is, meds are only band-aids to treat symptoms and not don’t treat the problem itself, especially for a 30ish year old woman who should be healthy and at her prime. I was determined to do as much research as necessary to by-pass as much medication as possible and switch over to whatever natural means I could find. My discoveries have lead me to believe and see, first hand, just how much what we put into our bodies AND on our bodies can have a major effect on our total well being. I’ve made some amazing changes in the products I use from skincare to topical meds to hair care. Not only do they work better, but I feel better too. And the kicker? I have made them all myself, the cost is less, and I can feel good in knowing that I am contributing considerably less to the petrochemical lifestyle.
I am a stay at home mom of two girls and wife to a crazy traveling man. I think he is gone more than he is home but, this is my life, and I’m going to love it no matter what. I am on a mission to do whatever I can to make my life and the lives of those around me better by whatever means necessary. God is good!
